Funeral services for Robert "Coot" Jones will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Brian Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana.
Robert was born February 11, 1925 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest April 27, 2019 in Minden, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jones, parents, William and Ami Jones, brothers, Rutledge and Otis Jones, and sister Juanita Harper.
He is survived by his wife Betty Jones of Minden, daughter, Cathy Anderson of Minden, stepson, Kenneth Hartley and wife Nell of Texas, cousin, Paula Taylor of Minden, nephews, Jimmy Crow of California and Bobby Crow of Texas, grandchildren, Candace Cox and Andy Anderson, and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jackson, and Patience Cox, and numerous nieces and nephews and other great-grandchildren.
