Graveside services for Robert L. Howard will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana with Pastor Kenneth Wayne Jenkins officiating.
Robert was born November 18, 1938 in Jamestown, Louisiana and entered into rest June 30, 2018 in Ringgold, Louisiana. He was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Jamestown where he served for 55 years as a deacon.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Howard, mother, Bertha Howard, brothers, Willie Howard and Johnny Howard, Jr., sister, Francis Jones and 3 other sisters died at birth.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mattie Howard, son Thomas Howard and wife Jasmine, daughters, Sherry Howard and Geraldine Perkins and husband Jerald, brothers, Richard Howard, Johnny Ray Howard (Nellie), Benny Howard (Joyce), Engry Howard, James Shepherd (Elaine), and Claude O'Neal (Vernell), six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces, many nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Hullaby, Terry Adams, Ernest Drew, Towry Weathers, and Russell Hullaby.
Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Howard, Ta'Vorious Alford, Sr, Javen Howard, Joshua Perkins, Jerald Perkins, Brannon Alford, and Ta'Vorious Alford, Jr.
