Robert Shelton Bayles

A memorial service for Robert Shelton Bayles, 45, will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Thumper Miller. Shelton was born on October 11, 1975 to Kathy Jean Harrison Brummett and Robert Samson Bayles in Leesville, Louisiana and entered eternal rest Monday, September 27, 2021 in Noble, Louisiana. Shelton worked as a millwright for many years, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. A southern man, he loved to fish and could often be found playing pool or listening to a variety of music. No matter the location, Shelton would guarantee a good time filled with laughter and joy. He loved his family and the memories of him will be cherished. Shelton is remembered and survived by his wife, Christy Bayles; mother, Kathy Brummett and husband, Gary; father, Robert Samson Bayles; sister, Jessica Custis and husband, Troy; brother, Trenton James Bayles; sons, Robert "Caleb" Bayles and Roland "Rollie" Bayles; daughter, Nicki Bayles and Chris, and his grandchildren, Mila and Abel Cacace.
