Robbie Yarbrough Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 3, 2021 after a brief illness.
Robbie was born January 31, 1944 in Star City, Arkansas, to Emery and Hazel Yarbrough. He was a retired papermaker from International Paper. He enjoyed going to the little cabin in Arkansas, hunting with his family and friends, and gardening with his loving wife of 59 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Pete Yarbrough and Billy Yarbrough, two sisters, Marceil Hill and Nancy Yarbrough, a brother-in-law, Troy McGehee, and sister-in-law, Margie Glenn.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Yarbrough of Mansfield, two sons, Wayne Yarbrough (Julie), of Waynesboro, GA, and Ronnie Yarbrough (Laura) of Mansfield; two brothers, Elton Yarbrough (Mary) of Dallas, TX, and Gene Yarbrough (Lynn) of Star City, AR; one sister, Faye Lampirez, of Star City, AR; seven grandchildren, Annie Yarbrough (Chris) of Mansfield, Josh Yarbrough (Cathy) of Hawaii, Amanda Yarbrough (Brandon), Stanley, Katie Yarbrough (Tyler) of Mansfield, Emery Yarbrough of Mansfield, Chelsea Rogers (Andrew) of Maple Plain, MN, John Boyle (Rachel) of Lufkin, TX, and 11 great-grandchildren, Rosalie, Lillian, Makenzie, Hollie, Teagan, Neveah, Danny, Timothy, Rylee, Taylor, and Frank, and special nephew, Billy Allen Yarbrough (Becky) of Star City, AR.
Also survived by his sisters-in-law, Willie Pennick, Silom Springs, AR, Dessie Luke, Calera, OK, Nora Bills, Rogers, AR, Ann Lloyd, Mesquite, TX, Martha Goza (Glenn), Calera, OK, Janie Pate, Calera, OK, Elaine McGehee, Dennison, TX, brother-in-law, Roy McGehee, Calera, OK, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Carmel Baptist Church or The Giddeons, in memory of Robbie.
