Rita L Sepulvado

SHREVEPORT, LA- Rita Rivers Sepulvado was born in Zwolle, LA on April 14, 1943 She was a retired school cafeteria manager, who never could shake the habit of feeding people. She was part of the Red Hat Society and had a collection of hats she was unafraid to show off. She was a charter member of St. Mary of the Pines. She passed away on June 11, 2014. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mary Ann Rivers, her sisters, Scottie Rivers Ferguson and Karen Elizabeth Rivers and nephew, R.G. Ferguson. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Anthony Sepulvado; two children, Joseph Anthony Sepulvado, Jr., Buffey Carroll and husband, Bud. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Torri, Julie and Will; four sisters, Muriel Rivers, Jean Lambert and husband, George, Kay LeBleu and husband, Tim and Darlene Boudreaux and husband, Pat; and brother, Ricky Rivers. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Zwolle, LA at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Pat Boudreaux, George Lambert, Tim LeBleu, Casey Stephens, Gary Wayne Stephens, and Lamar Boudreaux will serve as pallbearers.
