Funeral Services for Richard Kevin Zappa will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. C.R. Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 12 noon Thursday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Richard was born June 17, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest May 19, 2020 in Monroe, Louisiana. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. His greatest love and pleasure was spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Zappa, Jr., paternal grandparents, William C. Zappa Sr. and Macel, and maternal grandparents, Robert C. Bryan and L.E. He is survived by his mother, Lenora Fluhr (Mike) of Minden, son, Drew Head (Jessica) of Waxahachie, Texas, daughter, Krystal Bragg (Casey) of Haughton, sister, Debbie Zappa Bailes (Ronald) of Grayson, brother, Brian Zappa (Vonnie) of Longview, Texas, grandchildren, Austin Head and Lincoln Bragg, girlfriend, Charne' Gauthreaux, and a number of nieces and nephews.
