Richard Forrest Wilson

Graveside services for Richard Forrest Wilson, 71, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Olive Branch Methodist Cemetery in Doddridge, AR with Bro. Walter Burnett officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside. Richard was born March 4, 1948 in Kilgore, TX and went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2019. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons and spending time with his family. He loved watching his girls barrel race. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Winnfield "Dick" and Florence Ellison-Wilson and father-in-law, Billy Adcock. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, June Marie Wilson; son, Zachary Wilson and wife Hannah; daughter, Jennifer Thomas and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Boe and Genesis McLaurin, Gracey Thomas, and Emma Wilson; mother-in-law, Charlotte Adcock; sisters, Jill Lux and Leny Burk; brother, Scott Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Richard as pallbearers will be Jeff Thomas, Zach Wilson, Boe McLaurin, Bill Adcock, Stanley Hicks, Tim Hicks, Scott Garrelts, and Andy Pickett. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Duane Thorton and Mike Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Great Results Equine Assisted Therapies, 7141 Greenwood Springridge Rd, Greenwood, LA 71033. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Southern Care Hospice, his nurse, Brenda, and CNA, Jackie.
