Richard K. Sanders

Richard K. Sanders, 74, born April 17, 1952, in Homer, Louisiana to Gruner D. and Annie Marea Sanders and entered into rest May 28, 2026, in Shreveport Louisiana after a lengthy illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Stanley B. Sanders, nephew, Russell Sanders, niece, Lindsey Heusel & Darrin, close friend and companion, Linda Felchak, and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Marfan Foundation, 22 Manhasser Ave., Port Washington, NY 11050, St. Jude, or donor’s choice.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Hock Activity Building, at 1383 Hwy 531, Minden, Louisiana 71055.
