Funeral services for Richard Lee Randolph, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana.
Richard was born on June 3, 1956 in Minden, Louisiana to Joel Randolph, Sr. and Cheryl Jean Randolph and passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Richard worked off shore and was a truck driver before he started his own construction company. He was a hard worker and loved country music, country western dancing and teaching dance lessons. He modeled country western clothing. Above all, he loved his family and was full of life. To know him was to love him, he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jacquelyn Chandler and great-grandson, Grayson Prather. Left to cherish his memory daughters, Kimberly Abbs, Candice Headrick and Leila Randolph and Joanie Randolph; sons, Richard L. Randolph, Jr., and Tristin Randolph; grandchildren, Tiffany Abbs, Gavin Abbs, Bryce Abbs, Billy Headrick, Shelby Johnston, Dylan Johnston, MaKayla Young, Raiya Randolph, Addison Randolph, Zoey Randolph, Mary-Beth Randolph and Eli Schneider as well as brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Honoring Richard as pallbearers will be Nick Putch, Josh Dice, Nobel Randolph, Andy Randolph, Tristin Randolph and Richard Randolph, Jr. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Johnston, Joseph Randolph, David Dice, Allen Randolph, Garret Jewel and Tanner Philan.
