Known by many names—Mother, Mammaw, Mimi, Granny, Gran, and RJ—she was a constant source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love to all who knew her. Reba’s life revolved around her family, and she gave endlessly of her time, her heart, and her care. Whether through her homemade biscuits, a warm hug, or just being present, she made everyone feel special and deeply loved. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Gour, grandson, Kevin Gour Woolverton and daughter-in-law, Carole Gour.

She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Mark Gour, Kimberly Hutchinson, Cynthia Honeycutt, Laura Sands, and Amanda Schoggin, along with eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren, each carrying forward her sweet spirit and love.
The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her special, God-sent caregivers—Yolanda, Wilda, Keisha, Dominque “Dee”—as well as her very special hospice nurse, Kay Richards, all of whom cared for and loved her deeply.
Reba will be remembered for her generous spirit and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and a life centered around those she loved most.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
