Raymond Perez

Funeral services for Raymond Perez, 87, of Elm Grove, Louisiana, will be held on Tuesday , October 17 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Haughton Cemetery, 153 South Elm Street, Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Victor Carson.

Raymond was born on February 2, 1936, in Cotton Valley, Louisiana to Pedro and Ruby Reeves “Lupe” Perez and peacefully passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 in his residence.

He was a man's man. Raymond played football and was a graduate of Cotton Valley High school. He was an avid deer hunter & fisherman who loved living off his land.

Raymond was a loving husband and father who proudly served in the Army and Marines. His occupation was plant supervisor and operator at Olin Chemical for 35 years until he retired. He faithfully served and worshipped Christ Jesus.

Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Perez; father, Pedro Perez; mother, Lupe Perez; brothers, Stan, Johnny, Frank and Fred Perez and sisters, Alice Davis, and Maggie Perez.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Terry Perez, Tina Goss and Kelli Lee; sister, Madeline Liles; grandchildren, Chris Mercer, Adam Owens, and Lindsay Bennett; nine great-grandchildren & his loving companion Lindel Williamson.

Honoring Raymond as pallbearers will be Jordan Wisniewski, Chris Mercer, Adam Owens, Pat Mercer, Preston Mercer, and Chip Bennett.
