Raymond Lee Wilson was born on September 3, 1938, to James Dave Wilson and Nora Bell Giles Wilson in Plain Dealing, Louisiana, and passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Rebecca Sue Skinner Wilson was born on December 30, 1941, to Craig Preston Skinner and Naomi Blanche Skinner in Oil City, Louisiana, and passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Rebecca Sue and Raymond Lee Wilson passed away only eight minutes apart, leaving this world the same way they lived it, side by side. Their love for one another, their family, and the life they built together was strong enough that even in their final moments, they remained connected.

Rebecca was known for her warm heart and the way she cared for others. She loved cooking and collecting cookbooks, always eager to try a new recipe or share a meal with the people she loved. Shopping trips, family gatherings, and especially Christmas brought her so much joy. She loved decorating the house with all the Christmas trimmings, filling every room with the holiday spirit she cherished.

Raymond found his peace outdoors. He loved gardening and spending time in the fresh air. Sports were a lifelong passion; he enjoyed them all, and he never missed a chance to cheer, watch, or talk about the game. Above all, he loved his family deeply, and his granddaughter, Morgan Leigh Griffin Howell, held a special place in his heart.

Together, Rebecca and Raymond created a life full of love, laughter, and devotion. Their passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but their legacy lives on in the memories they made, the traditions they cherished, and the family they loved so fiercely.

They were preceded in death by Raymond’s parents, James Dave Wilson and Nora Bell Giles Wilson; their son, Darrin Craig Wilson; Raymond’s sisters, Wanda Dauphin, Floy Dale Merritt, Alma Jean Shoumaker, and Geraldine Tomorchio; his brothers, Dave Wilson, Jr. and Wilburn Wilson; Rebecca’s parents, Craig Preston Skinner and Naomi Skinner; her brother, Doyle Dean; and their son‑in‑law, Stephen Griffin.

Left to cherish their memory are their daughter, Tammy Wilson Griffin, their granddaughter, Morgan Griffin Howell, and her husband, Johnathan.

Honoring them as pallbearers will be Johnathan Howell, Mike Simmons, Mark Coutee, and John Coutee.
