SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Ray Pierce, 57, will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Bro. Don McCormick and Bro. Gregory Hurst will officiate. Interment will be at 12 noon in Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Ray was born July 24, 1956 in Shreveport, LA and was called home to be with Jesus June 13, 2014. He was a resident of Shreveport, LA and was self employed as a painting contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burnett and Margaret Ramsey Pierce. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Nancy Day Pierce; sons, Benjamin Ray Pierce and Caleb Alexander Pierce; siblings, Patricia Harris and husband, Danny, Sharon Allen and husband, Tommy, Roy Pierce and wife Delores, Melissa "Lisa" Reljac and husband, Mark.
