Graveside services for Ray Dean Mazie will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Doug Gregg officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Ray Dean was born January 28, 1942, in Quitman, Louisiana and left this earthly life to be with his Lord and Savior on September 21, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen Mazie and Valeria Plunkett Mazie, brother, John Allen Mazie, Jr, and sister, Connie Mazie Person.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Williams Mazie of Minden, son, William Brett Mazie and wife Marlene of Minden, daughter, Sheri Mazie McLemore and husband Keith of Minden, sister, Virginia Zimmerman of Baton Rouge, brother, Ronnie Mazie of Denham Springs, grandchildren, Cole Bass and wife Kaitlyn, Amanda McLemore Poole and husband Holden, Braeden Allen McLemore and wife Caroline and Bayleigh Grace Rogers, and great-grandchildren, Rhett Bass, Mazie Ann McLemore, and on the way, Hollyn Elizabeth Bass.

Pallbearers will be Braeden McLemore, Cole Bass, Holden Bass, Keith McLemore, Morris Busby, and Rickie Gray.
