Mae was born April 7, 2009, in Bossier City, Louisiana to Nick Shoalmire and Mary Walker Shoalmire. She entered into rest on June 3, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana from a sudden illness.
Mae was a junior at Converse High School. She wore an aura of love around her. She was a lover of all things and animals, her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Mae loved fishing, hunting, riding side by side, feeding the chickens and dogs, and looking at the alligators with her dad and brother. She also loved driving her brother and sister crazy, singing and dancing with her sister, Robyn, music, riding four wheelers, loud trucks and loud cars, horses, sports, feeding cows and riding motorcycles with Mike, riding dirt bikes with Ava and Raylen, and she loved her friends. She was a helper to others, she had a big heart, and wise beyond her years-with good advice for everyone.
Mae loved her boyfriend, Hunter Miller and his family. Most of all Mae loved God. She loved going to Christ Church in Oakdale with her sister-in-law, Keiano.
Mae was best friends with her brother and sister, Dylan and Robyn, and they were also confidents, and keepers of secrets.
Mae was saved on February 7, 2024, and was baptized by Bro. Brian Rankin on June 3, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Waymon "Sam" and Bernice Shoalmire; grandparents, Glenda Sue Evans, Wallace Walker, Virginia Walker, and Bertha Mae Walker; and aunt, Angela Robin Shoalmire.
She is survived by her dad, Nick Shoalmire (Delilah Brewer); mom, Mary Shoalmire (John "Mike" Dyson); brothers and sisters, Dylan Shoalmire (Keiano), Robyn Shoalmire, Sierra Brewer, Laylah Dillard, Jacob Dyson (Jessie), John "Mikey" Dyson (Hope) and Jay Brown (Kayla); her boyfriend, Hunter Miller; grandparents, Shelby and Kaye Shoalmire, Calvin Evans, and Judith Dyson; nieces and nephews, Ivry, Ellei, Sam Shoalmire, Ava and Raylen Dyson, John Stafford Dyson, Jayden, Alexa, and Silas Brown; her cats, Keizer, Kitty Witty, and Garfield; her dog, Tallie; her horse, Molly; and numerous aunts and uncles.
