Randall Duane Brazell

Randall Duane Brazell, 67, went to meet his Lord and Savior on March 6, 2025. A graveside service will be held at the Keithville Cemetery on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor McKee Williams.

Randall was born August 19, 1957, in Alexandria, Louisiana to Johnnie and Elaine Brazell and passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Randall was married to Patricia Ann Long Brazell, his loving wife of 41 years. He obtained a BS degree from LSU-S in Mathematics Education. He was a long-time teacher and tutor in high school in his area of expertise.

Randy had a love for all types of music. He spent long hours listening to music, playing his guitar and singing. He was an avid reader, loved watching movies, playing video games, cooking and grilling. He always had a special bond with cats. He had a knack for picking out their names when they first met.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Elaine Simmons Brazell; brothers-in-law, Tracy Cedars, and Robert Dale Long, Sr.; and in-laws, Johnny and Juanita Bagley Long. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Long Brazell; sister, Donna Brazell Cedars; brother-in-law, Burton J. Long and wife, Gretchen; sister-in-law, Kayla Rascoe Long; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving Randy as honorary pallbearers will be Ty Cedars, Richard Hausgen, Robert Dale Long, Jr., Casey Long, and Luke Hausgen.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Randy will be greatly missed, but his family will always love and cherish his memory.
