Rabon Buddy Lewis

Funeral services for Rabon "Buddy" Lewis, 87, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at Keithville First Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. followed by services. Buddy was born December 20, 1930 in Montgomery, LA to George and Eva Lewis and went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He loved and cherished his family and his church family at Keithville Baptist Church. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Loretta Lewis; son, Terry Lee Doty, Sr.; granddaughter, Meredith Paige Jimes; and eight siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Debbie Ryan (Richard), Pamela Calhoun (Marty), Penny Kyle, Robin Trahan (David); daughter-in-law, Judy Doty; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Pallbearers will be Richard Rabon Ryan, Marty Calhoun, Jr., Van Ryan, Daniel Calhoun, Collin Jimes, and Trenton Merrett. Honorary pallbearers will be Terri Doty, Jr. and Timothy Doty. Memorials may be made to the Keithville First Baptist Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to a dear friend, Hilda Williams, Dr. Tyler Lash, the wonderful staff at Amedysis Hospice, and Bro. Mike Stowell.
