R. Justine Kearney

Funeral services for R. Justine Kearney, of Niceville, Florida, will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery on Stoner Avenue in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Father Rothell Price. Justine was born on February 2, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Mary Virginia Miller and Judson Shivley and passed away comfortably at home in the evening on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Justine worked at Adams Poultry Market on Market Street for many years. She enjoyed her time at the market selling fresh fruit, vegetables and yard eggs. Justine is preceded in death by her mother; father and stepfather, Cleve Miller. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Patrick Kearney, II (MSgt USAF, Ret.); brother, Judson Shivley; sons, Kelly Dickson of Niceville, Florida and Ed Dickson and wife, Erica of Katy, Texas; cousin, Penny Cush; two stepchildren, Patrick Kearney, Jr. and Tonya Riner of Benton, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kelly Tyler Dickson, Katelyn Dickson and Zach Mindrup; and two stepchildren, Allisa Bryanot and Jessica Alderson.
