Mindy worked as an office manager for Christus Home Heath for many years, and served as a U.S.A.F. Reservist with the 917th TFW at Barksdale A.F.B.
Mindy truly lived life to the fullest. She had a very thoughtful nature about her, always putting others before herself. She loved her kid's friends like her own and became a second mom to many of them.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Hershell Meshell, Jr. and their son, Ryan Lee Meshell and wife Savannah and daughter, Raven Leigh Meshell. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia Guin; sisters Sheila Custis and husband Bruce, Cindi Hall and husband Tony, Teresa Brown and husband Danny; Kay Price and husband Charlie. There are many nieces and nephews; Dena and Kenneth Wooldridge, Nikki and Kevin Rivers, Brianna Hall, Allisha Cochran, Sierra Cochran, Manda Howard, Katie Lopez, Garrett Ferrata, Addison Ferrata, Gavin Rivers, and Liam Hensley. There are so many extended family members on both sides of the family that, while they are too numerous to list, Mindy wanted them to know that she loved each and every one of them.
Mindy is also survived by her special friend Marc Devora and his children Anthony, Lisa, Megan and granddaughter Keslie.
Pallbearers in attendance will be Jon Walker, Ryan Ware, Timmy Morgan, Jed Johnson, Daniel McDonnell and Brad Leon. Honorary Pallbearers: Micah Durham, Anthony Devora, John Legg, Philip Dawson, Jesse Wheeler and James Willis.
A special thank you to Dr. Neelima Chintapalli, Pam Dunigan, Lisa Maggio, Gus, Christus Cancer Treatment Center, and all the other medical professionals who have provided care during her illness.
Friends, family and others whose lives Mindy touched are invited to the visitation at Rose-Neath South between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 on Thursday, December 7th. Funeral services will also be at Rose-Neath South Friday, December 8th at 11:00, with burial at Forest Park West following the services.
