SHREVEPORT, LA - A Service Celebrating the life of Pixie Rae Rasberry Edwards, 59, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Journey Church, 1020 Shreveport Barksdale Hwy, Suite 170, Shreveport, LA 71104. Officiating will be Bro. Darrel Miller. Visitation with the family will follow the service until 6:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. Pixie was born May 29, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA to Bonnie Mae Chandler Rasberry and George Edmond Rasberry and passed away August 22, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Journey Church. Pixie loved Jesus and her family with all her heart, all that knew her felt her love. Preceding her in death are her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Rettie Chandler, paternal grandparents, Raleigh and Serena Rasberry, sister, Trena Lee Rasberry and mother-in-law, Jerirae Edwards. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Paul Baird Edwards; parents, George and Bonnie Rasberry; father-in-law, Rev. Conrad P. Edwards; daughters, Sharai Miller and Trena Edwards; son, Rémy Edwards; brothers, Rett and Tori Rasberry; and grandchildren, Daniel Paul Miller, Makayla Rae Miller and Lexi Anne Miller. Honoring Pixie as pallbearers will be Rémy Edwards, Rett Rasberry, Patrick Robinson, Michael Robinson, Ronald Anderson, Greg Hayes and John Childress.
