Phillip Woodrow Hutson

Phillip Woodrow “Woody” Hutson, age 82, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in Bossier City, Louisiana, with his loving family by his side. He was of the Baptist faith and served God’s word in many capacities: beloved father, grandfather, and brother.

 Woody was born on June 19, 1941, in LaFollette, Tennessee. He graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1960, in Clinton, Tennessee, and served in the United States Air Force Veteran from July 1960 - November 1962.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eva Hutson; son, James Carl Hutson; wife, Margaret Benson Hutson, and son, Michael Dunn.

 Phillip Hutson is survived by brother, Joseph Hutson of Shreveport, LA; sister, Jolene Hutson of Chattanooga, TN, and sister, Betty Jo Hutson of Flagler Beach, FL. He is also survived by his children, Martene Vickers (Chris Worley), Keith Dunn, Brett (Tawanna) Dunn, and Todd (Linda) Dunn.

 He was a beloved grandfather to James “Jamie” Vickers, Donna (Chris) Briery, Ashley Dunn, Brett “B.J.” (Deserea) Dunn, Chad Behan, Michael Scott Dunn, David Dunn, and Woody Dunn, along with numerous great-grandchildren.

 Some of the many nieces and nephews include Tesa Danaso of Palm Coast, Fl, Liane Horton of Englewood, FL, and Dan Danaso of Maryland.
