Peyton Chase Peevy

Peyton Chase Peevy, 31, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, following a traumatic brain injury and courageously giving the gift of life through organ donation. Born on December 14, 1993, Peyton entered and departed this world in the same facility, a place that witnessed both his first breath and his final act of selflessness.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doug and Winnie Sue “Nina” Hall.

Survivors include his two beloved daughters, Paisley and August, who were the light of his life; his fiancée, Samantha “Sam” Jade Childress, along with her daughter, Malloree, and grandson, CJ; his parents, Brad and Angela Peevy; his brother, Cody Peevy; and his niece, Piper. He is also survived by his grandparents, L.C. and Geraldine “Mammaw” Peevy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Peyton was a sweet, tender-hearted, and giving young man. From childhood, his life was guided by a strong faith in God. Gentle and kind in spirit, yet fiercely devoted to his family, he was a blessing to all who knew him. His greatest joy and proudest role was being the devoted father of his two beautiful daughters, Paisley and August, who were the center of his world. He had also found his soulmate in his fiancée, Sam. Peyton worked diligently in the family business, serving as Manager and Co-Owner of Louisiana Fried Chicken in Minden, LA.

Peyton’s legacy is one of love, faith, and generosity. His decision to become an organ donor reflected the way he lived every day—selflessly, and with a heart for others. His family will forever treasure the memories of his laughter, his devotion, and the unwavering love he poured into his children, his fiancée, and his family.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the ER and ICU staff of Minden Medical Center, especially Dr. Tye Arnette, Maddie, Angel, Elizabeth, Amy, Devin, and Andrew, for the “above and beyond” care and compassion shown to Peyton during his final days. Special thanks are also extended to the entire LOPA team.

Pallbearers will be Adam Bradley, Taylor Brown, Braxton Gray, Garrett Hall, Jeffery Ramsey, Brent Reeves, Trent Thompson, and Roman Tolbert.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at City on a Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
