Penny Gay Driskill

A Memorial Service honoring the life of Penny Gay Driskill will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Arcadia LA, at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held before the service at 12:30 p.m. Brother Jeff Hoffman will officiate. On January 14, 2022, at 3:30 p.m., heaven gained another sweet angel. Penny Gay Driskill was born July 27, 1959, to Hazel and John Samuelson, Jr. She worked as an office manager/bookkeeper for many years. Penny was a member of First Baptist Church of Arcadia, her hobbies included painting, singing, working in her yard and flower gardens. Penny had a great love for animals and children. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Marie Powell from Dumas, AR and father, John A. Samuelson, Jr. of North Little Rock, AR. Penny is survived by her husband, Walter Driskill of Arcadia, LA, son, Christopher Wilson and wife Maria of Ruston, LA, grandson, Samuel August Wilson, sisters, Janie Owings and husband William Larry Owings of Greenville, MS and Sheila Harthcock and husband Clyde Harthcock of Mamuelle, AR, and stepdaughter, Brianna Paige Driskill of El Dorado, AR. The family would like to thank their friends, the community and their church family for their support and prayers.
