A funeral service for Pearl Pauline Parmer, 89, will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Following the service burial will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery, 601 US-80, Haughton, Louisiana. Officiating will be Chaplin Fred Gallop III.
Pearl was born July 6, 1932 in Randolp County, Alabama to Nixon Paul Mitchell and Cummie Vernice Mitchell and passed away on May 12, 2022 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Pearl was married to the love of her life Rudolph Parmer for 58 years. She worked at the BX on Barksdale Air Force Base for over 40 years. Pearls hobbies included gardening, sewing, traveling and singing in the church choir, which she did for over 35 years.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudolph Parmer; son, Steve Parmer; daughter, Susan Parmer; sisters, Marie Stidham, Betty Miles, Reba Mitchell, Ann Parmer; brothers, Charles Mitchell, Billy Mitchell and Junior Mitchell. She is survived by her grandson, Joshua Parmer; great-grandchildren, Oberyn Parmer, Leo Parmer and Elizabeth Parmer.
