Pauline Elliott

Pauline Staires Elliott of Bossier City, Louisiana, was born on March 19, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away on Monday, March 1, 2022. A graveside service for Pauline will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Holly Springs Cemetery in Martin, Louisiana, officiated by Chaplin Matt Kinney. Pauline was a beautiful, thoughtful, loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family! She kept framed pictures and articles of sports or any activities of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and proudly displayed them throughout her home. She worked as a cosmetologist in her early years and later worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper at Lowell Crockett's beauty salon, which she dearly loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and working crossword puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Staires and Beatrice Custer Staires; husband, Harold Glenn Elliott; daughter, Sarah Elliott Taylor; sisters, Marilee Staires Crawford and husband, Willis, Jean Staires Odom and husband, Cazy; brother, Earl Staires; and brother-in-law, James P. Elliott and wife, Ruby. She is survived by her sons, H.P. Elliott and wife, Shirley, Wayne Elliott and wife, Linda; daughter, Glenda Martin and husband, Bobby; son-in-law, Charlie Taylor, all of Bossier City, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Geneva Staires; her grandchildren, Jason Elliott and wife, Whitney, Dwayne Ellliott and wife, Jennifer, Shannan Elliott and wife, Brittany, Ryan Elliott and wife, Sydney, David Martin and wife, Chasity, Kristi Jones and husband, Chris, Kylie Husted and husband, Alex, and Elliott Taylor; great-grandchildren, Ashley Elliott; Katelyn Elliott, Dalton Elliott and wife, Mishka, Dylan Elliott and fiancée , Mallory Ganey, Laken Martin and fiancée, John Vosbury, Whitley Martin, Caleb Clearman, Jacob Clearman, John Martin Clearman and Charleigh Taylor; step-great-grandchildren, Taylor Henry, Trevor Henry, Hunter Jones, Mackenzie Jones, and Cash Jones; along with one step-great-great-granddaughter, Foster Ganey. Pallbearers will be Jason Elliott, Dwayne Elliott, Ryan Elliott, David Martin and Elliott Taylor. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to donor's choice.
