Paula Boyd

Funeral services for Mrs. Paula Boyd will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday. The burial will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.

Paula was born June 25, 1964, in Minden, Louisiana to Ted and Bernice Johnson. She entered into rest on January 6, 2026, in Gibsland, Louisiana. Paula loved her family. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. You could find Paula at every home game at Simsboro High School, watching her girls play softball. She was talented at crafting and arranging flowers. Paula will be missed greatly by those that knew her.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Bernice Johnson, and son Bart Boyd.

Surviving her are her son Caleb and wife Christy, grandchildren Brooklynn, Brianna, Alec, and Bryce, and by her brother Mitch Johnson.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Michael Watts, Jimbo Jones, Josh Kidd, Scott Kidd, Jonathan Langford, Bobby Joe Larison. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Stroud, Alan Crawford, Brian Murphy, Ryan Patterson.
