Paul Ruben Moore

A funeral service honoring the life of Mr. Paul Ruben Moore will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 2^nd, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield Louisiana. Interment will follow at Brookland Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1^st, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend David Permenter. Paul was born to Silas Ruben Moore and Vera May Moore on December 26, 1953 in Tyler, Texas and entered into rest on November 28, 2021 in Logansport, Louisiana. Paul was a resident of Logansport and worked as a truck driver for many years. As a young man, Paul graduated from Joaquin High School. He later met the love of his life, Mrs. Sharon Lewis Moore, with whom he was married for 46 beautiful years. He held many jobs over the years, spending time working with Rite Care, Davis Timber, Dondor Trucking, Davis Vacuum Services, and Heckman Water Resources. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his family. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Russel Moore. He is survived by his wife; son, John Paul Moore and wife, Courtney; daughter, Kimberly Bissell and husband, Steven; sister, Kathy Bayles and husband, Frannion Sr.; brother, Jimmy Dale Moore and wife, Katherine; and his grandchildren, Emme, Johnathan, Lily Anna, Sam, and Mason. Honoring Paul as pallbearers will be Jackie Briggs, Steven Bissell, Sean Rash, Sam Bissell, Frannion Bayles Sr., and Mike Braxton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be J.D. Moore and John Paul Moore.
