Paul Anthony Meshell passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the age of 76. He was a beloved and devoted brother, father, and grandfather.

Paul is survived by his brothers, Johnny Meshell, Amos Meshell, and Steve Meshell; sons, Michael Meshell, Danny Meshell, and Morgan Meshell; daughters, Amy Meshell and Sarah Lane, as well as numerous grandchildren, Macie Meshell, Landon Meshell, Collins Meshell, Savannah Meshell, Sierra Lane Dawson Meshell, and Scarlett Taravella. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Amos Meshell, Sr.; his mother, Jesse Mae Meshell; and his brothers, Tommy Hershall, Sr., David, and Frank Meshell

Paul was born on September 10, 1949, in Dixie, Louisiana. Paul served in Vietnam as a United States Army Ranger. He worked as a railroad engineer and drove an ambulance for Balentine.

Paul was a Tribal Elder of the Choctaw Apache tribe of Ebarb, Louisiana. In Paul's spare time, he enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time with his family. Paul never met a stranger. He was always willing to help others in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 11:00 am-12:30 pm, at 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Followed by graveside services at 1:00 p.m., at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Rd. Bossier City, Louisiana.
