Paul David Lerchie

A memorial service for Paul David Lerchie, 64, will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Quasean Nicholson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Officiating the Rosary will be Father Rothell Price. Paul was born on July 30, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Hal and Virginia Lerchie and passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana surrounded by his loving family. Paul was a proud member of Local IBEW #194. He was a member of Southern Swingers Square Dance Club for many years until he became too ill. He was a founding member of the Myeloma support group at Willis-Knighton Medical Center. He genuinely loved the general cancer support @WKMC. Paul had a big heart and was a faithful volunteer for Reel Recovery, Roy's Kids and Hope House. He volunteered as coach for Dixie Baseball and Cabosa Soccer. He was an avid Louisiana Saints fan. WHO DAT! To know Paul was to love him, and he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his parents; niece, Shenae Rodgers; brother-in-law, Dave Barker and numerous other much loved relatives. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Susan Lerchie; sons, Sean Lerchie and wife, Mandy and Scott Lerchie and wife, Megan; grandchildren, Collin, Ben, Marjorie-Kate; Chloe and Caroline; mother-in-law, Rosemary Barker, who loved him as a son; sisters, Donna Rodgers and husband, Billie and Kathy Dollar and husband, David; brother, Kenneth Lerchie and wife, Jan; brother-in-law, Michael Barker and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to the family and friends who have provided such comfort during this most difficult time. The family appreciates you all.
