Patsy R. McCormick

Many, LA- Patsy was born November 7, 1927 in Village Mills, TX and entered into rest on February 11, 2020 in Many, LA. Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Patsy Ruth McCormick will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel with brother Tim Leach officiating. Her family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment for Mrs. McCormick will be immediately after her service at Florien Cemetery in Florien, LA. Preceding Patsy in death was her father, Lester Ray Jenkins; her mother, Dolly Lamar Hayes; and her stepmother, Gladys Jenkins. Those left behind to cherish his memories are her husband, Ralph D. McCormick of Many, LA; her son, Thomas McCormick and wife, Terri of Houston, TX; her daughter, Bonnie F. Sanderlin of Houston, TX, her daughter, Theresa A. Goldthorpe of Silver Spring, MD; along with 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was very loving, kind, and generous to everyone. She loved her family dearly, and has been married to her husband, Ralph, for 72 years. She would always greet you with a smile and a hug. She was a great cook and loved having fish fry's at their family home. Patsy always had cake and coffee for visitors. There was always a puzzle on the table, and she loved her flower garden. She was a wonderful quilter and loved to can. She is now greatly missed by all and her memories will be treasured by those who knew and loved her. Honoring Patsy as pallbearers will be Spencer Nolley, Christopher Goldthorpe, Adam McCormick, Marvin Bunnell, J. T. McCormick, and Joe Below. Honorary pallbearer will be Brandan Clark.
