Patsy Marie Rosa

Patsy Marie Reynaud Rosa, 74, of Shreveport left this place to be with the Lord on September 12, 2021. Patsy was born in Vick, Louisiana to Calvis and Carrie "Berta" Reynaud. They moved to Shreveport to raise their family. Patsy moved to New York where she met and later married former husband, Vincent Rosa. They moved to Las Vegas to begin their life and raise their family. Patsy was a caring and loving stay-at-home mom for many years. Patsy decided after the children were grown to return to the work force. Patsy started off by working in grocery stores in the bakery department before she found the job she really enjoyed at Dillards. Patsy worked at Dillards in Las Vegas for several years before returning to Shreveport where she continued to work at Dillards before retiring in 2017. Patsy was an exceptional seamstress but found her niche for style while at Dillards. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Calvis Reynaud and Carrie Roberta Reynaud. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Self and husband, Kenton of Ada, Oklahoma, Christine Hollander and husband, Scott of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Peggy Whitaker and husband, Whit of Keithville, Louisiana; grandsons, Tyler Lee Holly of Edmond, Oklahoma, Zachary Hollander of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mason Hollander of Las Vegas, Nevada; great-granddaughter, Keira Hollander of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephew, Jason Babin and wife, Kelly and children, Kaleigh and Kane of Blanchard, Louisiana and Neice Jennifer Langlois and husband, Brian of Austin, Texas and Courtney Padgett and husband, Jeff and children, Ridleigh and Ryder of Shreveport, Louisiana; Uncle Larry Reynaud and wife, Jancie of Shreveport, Louisiana; and Aunt Dot Lucus of Montevallo, Alabama; and close family friend, Dora Thomas of Shreveport, Louisiana. "Celebration of Life" will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport on September 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
