A graveside service for Patsy Eugenia Harper, 85, will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Dr. Martin Alaichamy.
Patsy was born on April 11, 1940, to Harvey and Myrtis Aldridge in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, in Monroe, Louisiana.
Patsy Harper dedicated over 40 years of her life to nursing, embodying the true spirit of a caregiver, compassionate, steady, and always ready with a reassuring smile. Her positivity was contagious, and her laughter could brighten even the hardest days.
Patsy’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted grandmother who lit up when speaking of her grandchildren and beamed with pride over her great-grandchildren. Her love was unwavering, her presence a constant source of comfort and joy.
She was a loyal and faithful wife to her beloved husband, Al Harper, who preceded her in passing not long ago. Their bond was filled with love, laughter, and deep companionship that touched everyone around them.
Patsy will be remembered not only for her decades of service as a nurse but for the warmth she brought into every room, the lives she touched with her kindness, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 67 years, Arvis Lynwood Harper; son, Reginald Harris Harper; sister, Carrie Ann Aldridge, and brother, James Harvey Aldridge, Jr. She is survived by her grandchildren, Christy Dunn, Christopher Harper, and Joshua Harper; great-grandchildren, Carter, Nona, Sage, and Anisten.
