Funeral services for Patricia Murphy Rushing will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral home in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Dale Sauls officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior service time. Please join us for the celebration of Patricia's life, dress is casual and mask are required. Patricia was born July 21, 1936 in Dallas, Texas and entered into rest March 19, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Bailey Murphy, Sr. and Novelene Christine Morris Murphy; husband, Walter G. Rushing, Sr. son Walter G. Rushing, Jr.; brother, Willis Bailey Murphy, Jr. and nephew, Willis Bailey Murphy, III. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Rushing Pitman of Texarkana, Arkansas and Patricia Ann Rushing Webb and husband Brad of Mooringsport; grandchildren, Casey Pitman, Kyle Pitman, Clint Pitman, Adam Thompson, Bailey Thompson, Brooke MacHauer, and Madeline Webb; great-grandchildren, Brinley and Brennan Colvard, Julian Howe, Daniel, Charlie, and Lily Beth Pitman; nephew, Randy Murphy; niece, Jamie Murphy White; brother-in-law, Edwin Rushing, and sister-in-law Sherry Murphy.
