Patricia Ann Robinson

Funeral services honoring the life of Patricia Ann Self Robinson, 83, of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, 2258 W 3rd St, Pleasant Hill, Louisiana 71065, with Rev. Pat Cobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. at the church. Patricia Ann Self Robinson was born February 22, 1939, in Converse, Louisiana to Henry Paul Self and Artie Mae (Moore) Self and passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. She lived in Sabine Parish most of her life. She married Joe Wayne Robinson and had three children, Patrick Wayne Robinson, Ronald Wayne Robinson, and Candy Jo Robinson Jordan. Patricia received a certificate in General Business from Many Trade School in 1968. She was the manager of the Senior Citizen Apartments in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana for many years. She was very active in her community. Patricia served as a board member for the Council on Aging, she managed Meals on Wheels and worked with the Louisiana Food Bank. Patricia was a member of Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church, where she helped vacation bible school and Shoe Box Program, and other activities. She also supported Lakota Indian Schools. Patricia loved to write Christmas cards to Veterans and mail out hundreds of cards to Veteran Hospitals all over the United States. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, and \"junking\". She was a member of the VFW Quilting Clubs at Toledo Town. She won many prizes for her quilts at Parish and State Fairs. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wayne Robinson; her parents, Henry Paul, and Artie Mae Self; two sons, Wayne and Ronald Robinson; her siblings, Albert Self, Dub Stewart Self, Leo Windham, Gwen Stewart, LeJune Short; and a great-great-grandchild. Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Candy Jo Jordan, and husband, Michael; daughter-in-law, Kim Robinson; grandchildren, Clayton Dakota Jordan, and significant other, Makayla Elliott, Chloe Chase Jordan, Michael Robinson, Racie Patrick, Laramie Robinson, and Havannah Robinson, ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and her siblings, Mary Self Shaw, Veronica Loupe, Bobbie Nora Self Dodson, and Johnnie Self. Honoring the life of Patricia as pallbearers will be Reggie Ballard, Johnny Boy Dodson, Clayton Jordan, Laramie Robinson, Hunter Thompson, and Shannon Self. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Robinson and Ricky Thompson.
