Patricia Jeanne Puckitt is united with her beloved, Jesus Christ.  Her crown is perfectly placed on his Throne by his feet and she will bask in the radiance of his glory forever more.  

A visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 followed by a graveside service  at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens North in Blanchard, Louisiana. Her grandson, Pastor Brett Austin Puckitt will be officiating.

Patricia was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa on April 11, 1941 and resided in Blanchard, Louisiana for over 50 years. On Monday, May 15, 2023 her permanent residence officially shifted to Heaven above where she is reunited with her one and only true love, Charles Allen Puckitt, whose laugh she fell madly in love with the day they met.  Edna Mae Kennedy, her adoring mother, along with brother, Ronald Kennedy and sisters, Delores Mooring and Edna Caine are rejoicing by her side. Patricia loved the Lord with all her heart and lived each day with a singular purpose, to anchor her life in the character and call of Jesus Christ.  

Her family will cherish the unforgettable moments and beautiful memories shared with Patricia as they are innumerable along with her infinite God given talents.  Surviving family members who will reunite with Patricia in Heaven one sweet day are son, Timothy Allen Puckitt and wife, Darlene of Bossier City, Louisiana; daughters, Debra Jeanne Puckitt and Kathy Elizabeth Puckitt  both of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Ted Kennedy and Lawrence Kennedy; grandchildren, Chad Puckitt and wife, Katie, Brett Puckitt and wife, Rachel, Kristen Harrison and husband, Jay and Lauren  Stringer; great-grandchildren, Carter Puckitt, Emma Puckitt, Addison Puckitt, Kelly  Branton, Jackson Puckitt, Landon Harrison, Grace Puckitt and Elliot Puckitt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Vivian, 311 N. Pine Street, Vivian, Louisiana 71082 where her grandson lives out her legacy preaching the word of God as the residing Pastor.
