Patricia Ann Jones

A graveside service for Patricia Ann Jones, 86, will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur Bossier City, Louisiana. Patricia was born April 19, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Boyce Boyter and Glens Leona Shepard and passed away peacefully at Sacred Journey Hospice in Newman, Georgia on the morning of April 17, 2022. After graduating from high school, she joined the Air Force and served from 1955 to 1959. After serving in the Air Force, she married and became a housewife. She was a member of The Church of Latter-Day Saints for the last 45 years. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Jones; son, Christopher Jones; brothers, William Shepard, Steve Boyter; and sister, Barbara Barteet. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Mayfield; sons, James Jones, Michael Jones; sister, Lois "Jerri" Cleveland; brothers, James Kenneth Boyter, Gary Boyter; granddaughter, Erin Widner; grandson, Bobby Widner; and great-granddaughter, Addison Widner. The family would like to express their special thanks to staff of Sacred Journey Hospice for the wonderful care they showed to our mother and family.
