Patricia Louise Goolsby

Patricia Louise Stowe Goolsby, age 87, was born Kenosha, WI, on March 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Josiah D. and Salome Kirklis Stowe. She entered into peaceful rest surrounded by family in her home on May 11, 2026, in Homer, LA. Patricia served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years. During that time, she was able to express her hope for a beautiful, peaceful future to countless individuals. In fact, she was active in her ministry until she passed, writing and sending letters filled with encouraging scriptures. She and her husband David were active members of the Okeechobee, Florida community. First as dairy owners and then transitioning into real estate as owners of Goolsby Realty Co. She loved animals, music and family dinners.

Patricia spent many happy hours at the beach, her favorite place to be with family. She was generous, kind, and loved spoiling her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband David Earl Goolsby, and two sisters, Honey Ivines and Barbara Tankersley.

She is survived by her daughter Diana Fox and husband Fritz, two grandsons, Justin Fox and Michelle and Jakob Fox and Tiffany, three great-granddaughters, Secret, Sunny, and Willa, a great, great-granddaughter, Audilee, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.

Patricia’s family would like to express their gratitude to her hospice nurse Jenna and the Okeechobee, Newport, and Homer Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses for their many years of continued love, support, and precious friendship.

A memorial service will be held for Patricia on June 13, 2026, 3:00 PM at he Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 25679 LA-2, Homer, LA.
