Patricia Ann Giddens

Funeral services for Patricia Ann Giddens, 71, will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Chapel with Brother Chris Willcutt officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Patricia was born on December 29, 1946 in Shreveport, LA to Johnny Lee Wilkes and Margaret Ann Ross and passed away on September 27, 2018. She was well loved by all of the children she helped "raise" as a stay at home mom, then as a Para Professional at Walnut Hill where she worked for 32 years until her retirement. She was very involved in the school's PTA and served as their treasurer. She never missed a chance for a beach trip with her family. Ultimately, her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Chester Giddens and her parents. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her son, Scott Giddens and wife Jennifer of Keithville, LA; daughter; Vicki Brown and husband Chris of Frierson, LA; sisters, Barbara Lee of Greenwood and Beverly Barnes and husband Beaux of Keithville, LA; brother, Richard Wilkes of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Dalton Giddens, Hunter and Blake Brown, Reagan, Mason, and Presley Pepper, Averee Kemp and Aubrey Giddens and numerous other family members. Honoring Patricia as pallbearers will be Luke Matranga, Chris Brown, Scott Giddens, Dalton Giddens, Richard Wilkes and Chris Wilkes.
