A graveside service honoring the life of Patricia Ann Bazer Fullerton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 219 Bethel Road, Logansport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Dr. Carl Rhoads, associate pastor at First United Methodist Church Shreveport. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Patricia Ann Bazer Fullerton was born August 19, 1939 in Monroe, Louisiana to Hice and Lurline Bazer and passed away, Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Pat lived in North Shreveport with her husband of 60 years, William “Bill” Fullerton. She attended C.E. Byrd High School then furthering her education at Louisiana Tech University where she majored in education. Mrs. Fullerton taught for 33 years mainly at Northwood High School. She had a deep passion for teaching, and truly loved all of her students. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her family, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Though she went all over the world her favorite place was always at her family cabin and grandparent’s house in Logansport, Louisiana where she spent making memories with her favorite cousin, Jerry Preston, as often as they could.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of over 60 years, William Taylor Fullerton; daughters, Karla Loftin and husband, Gary, Elizabeth Phillips, MD, and Ashley Fullerton; grandchildren, Taylor Simons and husband, Gary, Karli Loftin and fiancé, David Cotty, Jr. , Allie Loftin, Will Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Adeline Phillips, John Scott Phillips, Gavin Dulle and Logan Dulle; brother, David Bazer; and cousin, Jerry Preston.
