Patricia Ann Champion, 80, was born June 15, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to Harry Welsheimer Champion and Eleanor Mae Mellman Champion, and passed away on August 3, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Patricia was a former resident of Muskegon, Michigan, before moving to Benton, Louisiana, and worked at Muskegon Piston Ring and Keene Kaydon until she retired. Her hobbies included bowling, sailing, and golfing. She enjoyed art and creating seasonal decor. Patricia also enjoyed traveling with her family, including around the United States, Cyprus, Kenya, and Italy. She was a well-rounded woman loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Phillip Champion. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Charles Scott and Shane Champion Scott; daughter, Michelle Scott Vermilyea and husband, Daniel; her four grandchildren, Ashleigh, Megan, Dominick, and Isaiah; and her favorite cousin, Allen Learst.
