A memorial service to celebrate the life of Pamela June Brunty, 76, will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be Laura Savage.

Pamela was born on June 11, 1949, to James Vardeman Harper and Marjorie Louise Norton in Morton, Mississippi, and passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Pamela shared 28 years of marriage with her husband, Walter E. Brunty, and devoted 25 years to serving her community as a notary. She was deeply involved in her church, where she served as both an Elder and the treasurer of First Christian Church of Bossier City. Her faith, dedication, and steady presence made her a valued part of the church family and the lives of those she served.

Pamela enjoyed the things that brought her peace and joy, working in her garden, completing crossword puzzles, and playing the New York Times games she loved. She cherished her family and friends and was known for being smart, loving, and kind. Pamela touched many lives, and she will be remembered with deep affection by all who knew her.

Pamela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter E. Brunty, and her mother, Marjorie Louise Norton. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimberly Throgmorton; brothers, Bobby Joe Grantham and Billy Williams; grandsons, Dustin Wilson, Zachery Scherer, and Joshua Scherer; stepdaughter, Jeanie Brumley, and husband, Pete, and grandsons, Gordon and Hayden.
