Pallie T. Elston

Funeral services for Pallie Beth Tucker Elston, 79, will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dennis Aaron.

Pallie was born on September 12, 1946 in Shreveport to Aline Tucker and Marion Emmett Tucker and passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026 in Shreveport.

Pallie was a lifelong resident of Greenwood, Louisiana, where she attended Greenwood schools until their closing and later graduated from Woodlawn High School with the Class of 1964. On June 12, 1964, she married the love of her life, Buster Elston, beginning a partnership rooted in devotion and family.

She was known for her gentle spirit and her deep capacity for caring, especially toward children and young people. A proud member of the Greenwood Riding Club, Pallie found joy in horseback riding and shared that passion with her community. While raising her boys, she was actively involved in 4‑H, always encouraging and supporting their interests.

Family was the heart of her world. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great‑grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Pallie was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Marion Tucker and Billie Tucker, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Doug Elston and wife, Mona and Dan Elston; grandchildren, Kana Elston and Logan Elston; great-grandchildren, Braylon, Kadience and Olivia; brother, Donald Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews

Honoring Pallie as pallbearers will be Tom Ware, Derrek Tucker, Noell Whatley, Mark Chambless, Logan Elston, and Joey Hutson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tinker Tucker and Braylon Elston.

Pallie will be dearly missed, but we will always love her and cherish her memory forever.
