Orland Ray Anderson, Sr. Noble, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Orland Ray Anderson, Sr., 71, will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Noble Baptist Church in Noble, LA with Reverend Jimmy Price officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM. Orland was born on July 14, 1945, in Converse, LA to Jack H. and Katherine Anderson and passed away on January 4, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. Orland was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked 10 years at Vancouver in Florien, LA and then he retired from Weyerhaeuser Co. in Zwolle, LA after 26 years as a dryer feeder. Preceding Orland in death were his parents; Jack H. and Katherine Anderson; his brother; Jack "Top" Edwin Anderson, and his sister; Barbara Parker. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Debra L. Anderson, his sons; Orland Anderson, Jr. & wife Gerri, Timothy Anderson, Jonathan Anderson & wife Jessica, Ebulon "Elbo" Springer & wife Joni, Lucas Springer & wife Jessica, his daughters; Sarah Ray & husband Scott, Merrianne Anderson, and seventeen grandchildren.
