Shreveport, LA-Funeral services for Ora Lee Birmingham, 97, will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Randall Johnson of Countryside Baptist Church. Interment will follow service at Forest Park West Cemetery.
Ora was born January 23, 1920 in McCrory, Arkansas to Jack and Minnie Rushing. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2017.
Ora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Birmingham and son, Larry Birmingham. Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Linda and husband Jerry Brown and Mari Killgore; brother, Ray and wife Mary Anne Rushing; grandchildren, Billy Birmingham, Jeri Harper, Chris Calkins, Barrett Brown, Zack Brown, Jane Liles and 10 great grandchildren.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Bob Rushing, Jack Rushing, James Liles and Zack Brown.
