Opal D. Williams

Graveside services for Opal D. Williams will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home.

Opal was born on December 12, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest on October 27, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hebert and Eva Parker, son Michael Hollowell, sister, Linda Beshea, and grandson, Kenneth Hollowell.

She is survived by her husband, James Terry Williams of Minden, sons, Jamie Williams of Ruston, and Edward V. Harwell of Shreveport, daughters, Lisa McDaniel and husband Andy of Minden, and Kimberly Hall and husband Jimmy of Dubberly, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
