Opal Reece Rabon, Jr

Funeral services honoring the life of Opal Reece "Buck" Rabon, Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Asbell. Interment will follow the service located at Cassell Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. "Buck" was born on December 8^th,1950 in Converse, Louisiana to Opal Reece Rabon, Sr. and Mary Lovell McDonald Rabon. He entered into eternal rest on December 20^th, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Preceding "Buck" in death are his parents; brothers, Huey Wayne "Bob" Raborn and T.J. Raborn; sister, Lorretta Yvonne Rabon Groce; and son, Ethan Colt Hunter. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Rabon; sister, Linda Paddie and husband Merle; sons, Joshua Rabon, Larry Malmay, and Trey Hunter and wife Deidre; daughters, Misti Rabon Stowers and husband Donald Stowers, Andrea Doylis Rabon, Taren Bass and husband Chico, and Kristy Hunter; grandchildren, Tori Rabon Ryals, Jarek Reece Rabon, Matthew Stowers, Alex Stowers, Cash Rivers, Braxton Rivers, Kimberlyn Rivers, Kyran Slate, Kymbree Slate, Trace Aldredge, Kavan Aldredge, Kya Hunter, Laney Hunter, Elena Hunter, and Eli Colt Hunter; great-grandchildren, Ryker Reece Ryals and Piper Rayne Ryals; special sister-in-law, Diana Raborn; along with a very large host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved dearly. Honoring "Buck" as pallbearers will be Michael Myers, Clint Bass, Rickey Raybon, Eli Raybon, Dewel Wayne Brown, and Charlie Tewalt. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jarek Reece Rabon, Trace Aldredge, Matthew & Alex Stowers, and Cash & Braxton Rivers.
