O. L. Moses

Stonewall, LA - Memorial services for O. L. "Mickey" Moses will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Salem Baptist Church, Stonewall, LA. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Officiating are Dr. Mike Hawkins, pastor of Salem Baptist Church, and Dr. Roy Davis, pastor of North Shreve Baptist Church. Mickey retired from Texas International Petroleum Co. He was born July 22, 1933 in Converse, LA to Jesse and Virginia Moses. His favorite past times were camping, fishing and dominoes. He enjoyed his dogs and TV/talk radio. His greatest joy was his family. Mickey continued doing the things he loved until the very end. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Mickey is survived by his wife of 35 years, Julie Self Moses; sons, Mark Moses (Susan), Tim Moses (Sheila), Lee Butler (Felicity); daughter, Pamela Rodgers (Randy), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Salem Baptist Church or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
