Nora Jean Jennings

Shreveport, LA - A celebration of life for Nora Jean Jennings 86, will be held by the family in a private ceremony. Nora Jean Jennings was born on January 15, 1934 in Dierks, Arkansas to Berthie and Finney Pool. She passed away on March 22, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a Caddo Parish School teacher and retired 1988. She loved to fish and playing slots with her best friend, Kay Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, James Jennings, Jr.; parents. She is survived by her son, George William (Bill) and wife Andrea Michelle Jennings; daughter, Tommie Jean and husband Kenneth Ray Kelly; grandchildren, Adam Lawrence Kelly, Lenora Kelly Linder, and Stephen James Jennings; great-grandchildren, Zander Ashton Kelly, Mackenzie Leigh Kelly, Madeline Grace Lopez, Kelly Nicole Linder, Talon Daryl Kelly, and Gunner Ray Linder.
