Nona Ruth Michaud

Funeral Services for Nona Wise Michaud, 88, will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at Airline Baptist Church, 4007 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. A Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. at Bernice City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Reverend Harrell Shelton. Nona was born on November 27, 1932 in Hico, Louisiana to Sebron Elza and Bessie May Wise. She passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Arcadia, Louisiana. She spent most of her childhood in Hico, Louisiana. Nona graduated from Bernice High School and then attended Louisiana Tech State University graduating with a bachelor's degree. After graduating Nona worked as an office administrator at several businesses. Nona is preceded in death by her husband, Lorne V. Michaud, parents and brother, Harris Wise. She is survived by her nephew, Neil Wise and niece, Brenda folk. Honoring Nona as pallbearers will be Sebe Wise, Will Folk, Trey Folk and Scott Folk. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana 71103.
