Nikolas DeVon Brown

A Celebration of Life for Nikolas DeVon Brown, 36, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Family hour will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Nikolas was born July 9, 1982 in Flint, MI and went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He was fun-loving, generous, and always ready to help others. He was a good father and provider. He will be missed by all but God wanted him more. Nikolas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Leona Brown; maternal grandparents, Robert and Alice Marthrel; uncle, Curtis Marthrel; aunties, Mary Marthrel and Betty Brown. Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Latesha Allen; children, Nikolas Brown, Jr. and Christian Allen; parents, Marcus and Katie Brown; brothers, Marcus J. Brown and wife Sharee, Marlon Brown, and Isaiah Brown; aunties and uncles, Frances Hughes, Robert and Linda Marthrel, Michael and Kathleen Jones, Diane Crawford, William Brown, and Deborah Brown; special cousin, Bennie Rhodes of San Francisco; and host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to their family and friends and also to Jackie Baker and Mack Baker.
